Experienced HiSCS specialists gave a post-tensioning seminar for site engineers in the State of Kuwait in which the benefits of pre and post-tensioning in reinforced concrete structures were analyzed. LMK post tensioning system, with its components, such as anchorages and other hardware/ancillaries, for PT applications in bridges & buildings, were thoroughly presented. Furthermore, the methodology of installation, inspection and design of post-tensioning systems was demonstrated. Qualified site engineers had the opportunity to ask questions related to the implementation of post-tensioning in reinforced concrete structures and discuss about technical issues which occur in common practice during construction works.
