New Pantai Expressway – Lebuhraya Baru Pantai, (NPE) is a major expressway in the Klang Valley region of Malaysia. The 19.6 km (12.2 mi) expressway has provided an easier access to Kuala Lumpur from Subang Java and Bandar Sunway to avoid the traffic jams on the Federal Highway route during rush hour. It comprises the Main Link and the Salak Link.
The structure is 394m long consists of 9 spans (from Pier 11 up to Abutment B). The length of spans is ranging from 35m (min) up to 51m (max). The cantilever-balanced superstructure is a box girder with deck width of about 8.5m. The construction is cast-in-situ segments (127 segments + 8 first erected on piers) having a length of about 3m.
